Pune, Nov 23: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, who was included in the Indian Test team for the first match against Sri Lanka, today pleaded with the media to let him concentrate on his game instead of trying to get his reaction (on his selection).
"I am not going to give any positive or negative reaction. Please allow me to play," Ganguly told reporters after the first day's play of the four-day Elite A Ranji Trophy match between Bengal and Maharashtra here.
Ganguly was yesterday removed as captain of the Test team too after being sidelined for the one-day international series against Sri Lanka (which India won 6-1) and ongoing rubber against South Africa.
"I would definately talk to you (reporters) but only after the (Ranji) match," a smiling Ganguly had said yesterday and stuck to his stance today. (Agencies)
