On my kitten

This feline waif strayed into my soil
Breaking new ground; her trespass was wanton.
Her seductive fur, a breezy voile,
She is that rare-begot beauty's wanton.
Her tail, a furfledged bush of falling quivers.
Her cosmetic of impeccable style
Beats whole what our beauty parlour savours,
She purrs her rapport without being servile.
No sibyl's handmaid hung in eve's ether
That's her immemorial lie of ages.
She always wins her own gamesome weather
And dates with Morpheus in dark passages.
When she sits a sage on domestic sills,
She delivers us from our rodent ills.
