Pulahar
Pulahar is one of the six 'manasa putras' of Lord Brahma. He is one of the seven rishis known as
'Sithira Sikandis'.
Lord Brahma may be the creator but He created many Prajapathis (small creators) to create other lives on the Earth. Pulahar was one of the
Prajapathis.
As Prajapathi, Pulahar created 'kimpurushars', butterflies, lion, tiger, goat and wolf.
Pulahar was one of the persons who prevented Parasara Maharishi's yaga to oust the Asuras from the Universe as they had murdered Parasarar's father.
