During February 1997, the annual ‘All India Conference on Historical Research’,
was held in Jabbalpur. I was invited to present a paper on the subject of ‘Women
Freedom Fighters and Quit India Movement and Women Freedom Fighters in Madras
Presidency’.

Town of Rani Durga Bai - February, 1997 -

The town has got an excellent University named after her, which has a large and green
campus. A beautiful bronze sculpture of Rani Durga Bai stands in front of the
administrative building of the University.
In search of
Female identity (Aug 17, 1999)
It is a tradition amongst eunuchs, transvestites, gays, male dancers and other categories
of individuals who are in search of a female identity, to congregate in Kuvagam for about
a week.
