Raveena Tandon has been associated with CRY and the projects it supports for some time now. In the coming year, she will be more involved in CRY initiatives, helping raise awareness of the issues impacting less privileged children in our country, while being involved in fund-raising.
Pervin Varma, CEO, CRY, said, “The situation of less privileged children in India today is grim. We at CRY believe it is possible for individuals and corporate organisations who have the conviction that they can make a difference, to make change possible. Raveena Tandon has been associated with CRY for some time now and so was an unanimous choice to become the Hope Ambassador for the millions of children in our country.” Raveena said, “I am proud to be chosen to represent the hope that every child has a right to. I believe that more celebrities should leverage their status to promote awareness about issues that concern our society.”
