Pizza Hut, at Sterling Road, hurt our sentiments by mixing up chicken in veg pizza, and ridiculed us when we asked for an apology and bill.
We are Jains and strictly vegetarians. At Pizza Hut, Sterling Road, when we ordered two Exotica vegetarian pizzas, the second one came with pieces of chicken or some other meat
- around 9.30 pm. on 27/10/2002. This hurt our religious sentiment and when we tried to complain and get an apology from the manager and area manager - they ill treated us and refused to even give the bill.
We called the police and filed a complaint at the local police station in Nungambakkam at 1 am. The restaurant manager refused to give a written apology and even the bill was given only on the intervention of the local police. We spent 3 hours in painful circumstances in this restaurant.
I strongly object to such attitude in hurting our religious sentiments. Already, a complaint has been made in New Delhi by another Jain. Mr. Vineet and Mr. Kersi Marker hurt us, so we had no option but to complain to the police. Our complaint is pending with the local police station. Kindly highlight this matter in your website, so that people are aware as to what is going on.
