Sony Ericsson has unveiled the T100, an attractive, feature rich and easy to use mass market mobile for the modern Indian youth. The T100 is small in size and gives a glimpse of the new industrial design that is coming from Sony Ericsson, capturing the simplicity and minimalism of Scandinavian and Japanese design. “The youth is one of the fastest growing mobile phone segments in the country. However, this segment wants a phone that is not only trendy, attractive and a fashion statement in itself, but also that fits their budget. T100 from Sony Ericsson is a complete youth phone with an attractive price,” says Sudhin Mathur, general manager, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB Branch Office India.
Available in India for Rs 6,995, T100 provides core voice and messaging features for the consumers. The T100 offers consumers, EMS-messaging with pictures, sound and animations, and mobile Internet browsing with WAP 1.2.1. The T100 features an extensive gallery with 30 pictures, 15 animations and 10 sounds, which can be sent via EMS. One can also create as many as 10 SMS templates for often used messages. If that’s not enough, a new image can be created with a picture editor. T100 has a cool blue display backlight and extensive picture phonebook, calendar, games, predictive text input option, shortcut key start-up/shutdown and vibrating alert.
The T100 offers consumers EMS-messaging with pictures, sound and animations, and mobile Internet browsing with WAP. It features an extensive gallery with 30 pictures, 15 animations and 10 sounds, which can be sent to another phone via SMS. T100 also offers 10 SMS templates for often-used messages. With the picture editor in T100 one can even create a new image and send it across to friends making it a complete entertaining handset for the youth. T100 is small and light, measuring only 99X43.5X17.7 mm and weighs a mere 75 grams. It also offers a talk time of up to 4.5 hours and up to 200 hours (more than 8 days) of stand-by time.
