HMA STARware rolls out eDCI concept

HMA STARware Ltd (HMAS), one of the leading players in retail banking technology has rolled out a novel concept - eDCI (Enterprisewide Delivery Channel Integration) to the banks in India. In the wake of its leading position in Switching and Middleware space, HMAS is setting out to secure a major market presence in the retail delivery arena with its latest concept -- eDCI. HMA STARware’s ASP model offering, enhanced card issuance and management solutions and security solutions already have a wide acceptance with the banks in India and South East Asia.

eDCI enables streamlining of a bank’s multiple delivery channels like ATM, POS, ePurse, Kiosks etc, map and manage its performance to arrive at end-customer analytics and modeling techniques. eDCI aids in achieving and tracking a complete single view of customer profile information when transactions are performed by the end customer through any delivery channel. This in turn promotes customer retention strategy, superior customer services, effective opportunity creation to increase customer base.

HMA STARware provides eDCI through its ‘Star suite of Products’ which includes eZLink and through the EFT Switch -– the world wide proven IST/Switch – OASIS (from Oasis Technology, Canada). The Oasis Switch has 12 installations since its inception two years ago. All these installations have been working on the eDCI concept in pockets. HMAS has a substantial lead in Card Issuance and management offered to 53 banks. HMAS plans to provide a new service - ‘Card Printing Bureau’ as part of its card management services.
