Chennai, April 21: Why Kattappa killed Baahubali is no longer the mind-numbing riddle for fans of SS Rajamouli’s epic fantasy adventure. Now the hot question is why Kannadigas protesting 'Baahubali 2' with no proper reasons.
A day after Baahubali 2 director SS Rajamouli issued a video statement wherein he clarified that Sathyaraj’s comments which he made nine years ago on the Cauvery water dispute had no connection with the movie or its crew, the actor has finally apologised.
This big movie is all set to hit screens on April 28. Actor Sathyaraj, who plays Katappa in the film had allegedly made a controversial speech which had anti-Kannada statements during the Cauvery row some time back which didn’t go down well with many. The protesters including Kannada Rakshana Vedike had declared on Wednesday that they’d stall the Baahubali press meet scheduled for Thursday. Kannada outfits alson announced state wide bandh April 28, the date of the movie release.
He said, "I will be more careful in the future. My remarks should not affect the film. I made them 9 years ago during the Cauvery conflict. While I will continue to speak out for all issues related to Tamil Naude, I apologise if I hurt anyone's feelings."

However, reports coming that the protests are continuing despite his apology, and the anti-Baahubali stir is still on in Bengaluru. This could be given Sathyaraj has also commented saying he will continue to fight for the right of Tamil people.
